About Zoe Bible Church
Zoé Bible Church was founded by the then Evangelist Gladstone Botwana and his wife Rose, with the help of the late Pastor Isaac Mogoye and his wife Jenny in Pimville Soweto, in 1985.
ZBC is about evangelism (discipleship), church planting and restoration of order in the body of Christ.
ZBC has expanded and spread throughout the African continent and to date we have over 30 churches and new churches continue to be planted and nurtured as the vision continues to be fulfilled.
Bishop Botwana was consecrated into the Episcopacy in 1996 by Archbishop Roy Brown and Bishop Bernard Jordan from New York.
Zoé Bible Church is also the guardian and mentor of Global Restoration of Apostolic and Prophetic Order (GRAPO) which is an Interdenominational organization of pastors, elders and their churches. Bishop Botwana is the Presiding Bishop of GRAPO also.
With the introduction of the Episcopal office came the uniformed vestments or what we call the clergy attire, the ordination of deacons, elders, pastors and consecration of bishops.
All of which is geared at restoring protocol, order ethics and the grandeur of the house of God. 1 Samuel 10:4-10.

Our Mission
Here to Glorify God
As Zoē Bible Church in Tembisa we’re called by Christ to:
Evangelism
Restoration
Church Planting
Zoe Bible Church Tembisa Central branch has the honor of connecting people to God, Jesus Christ, and to one another in a loving and caring setting. It is our mission to empower our community to become disciples of God by learning the gospels and practicing his word.
The word “church” originates from the word “gathering” or “to gather”. This is why we so strongly cling to the notion that the church is not a building or a structure, but rather, the church is actually the believers themselves. We aim to maintain and foster a comfortable environment for our congregation to gather, build relationships, demonstrate love and share their knowledge. We believe that the Lord Almighty rewards those who take time out of each day to show their gratitude through prayer and spirituality.
